Ingredients

1 pkg 1 30 oz bag of frozen o'brien cut potatoes (or can use frozen shredded hash browns)
3 can(s) 14 oz cans chicken broth
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/2 c chopped onion
1/4 tsp ground pepper seasoning
1 pkg cream cheese (do not use fat free - it won't melt!!)

Toni's Notes:

Easy soup recipe that takes just a few ingredients and tastes so good!! I have also used diced potatoes when I didn't have the frozen ones on hand, but they did get a little mushy. Still tasted great!!

 

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot EXCEPT the cream cheese. Cook 6-8 hours on low heat.

About 1 hour before serving, add the cream cheese and keep heated until thoroughly melted.

Serve with cheddar cheese, bacon bits, sour cream dollops, whatever sounds good on top!!

This sounds sooo good. I like that you put the bacon and such as toppings and not part of the soup. Again, my sister is picky and won't eat bacon. But I will!!!
