- russet potatoes peeled & chunked
- 2 clove
- peeled garlic
- dry bay leaves
- chicken stock to boil potatoes in instead of water
- milk & butter for mashing potatoes
1In a large kettle put peeled & chunked potatoes, the 2 bay leaves and 2 whole garlic cloves. Cover with chicken stock. Boil until potatoes are done.
2Drain and remove bay leaves. Mash potatoes & garlic with milk & butter. Serve hot. Delicious.
The bay leaves give the potatoes a delicious flavor along with boiling them in chicken broth & garlic.
