Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

I think this is a great recipe, for after a holiday to use my leftover ham, since it only calls for 1 cup diced. This recipe is from an old magazine clipping from Southern Living.

medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
1 medium
thinly sliced onion
1 c
diced cooked ham
1 c
shredded american cheese ( 4 oz. )
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1 can(s)
undiluted, cream of mushroom soup ( 10 3/4 oz. )
3/4 c
1 Tbsp
chopped chives , fresh

Directions Step-By-Step

Layer 1/2 of the first 4 ingredients, starting with the potatoes, sprikling with salt and pepper, repeat the layers as before. - put the soup in a Bowl and Stir in the 3/4 cup of water, mixing well, and pour over the top of mixture in pot - Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours - when done , before serving Sprinkle chives over the top, before serving
