I learned to make this at a young age from my mom. My sister's fiance' called me from the army and had me send him the recipe. It's so simple to make and very satisfying.

Ingredients For corned beef hash

  • 1 can
    12 ounce libby's corned beef
  • 7 md
    russet potatoes, boil with 1/2 tsp salt or 3 large potatoes
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • black pepper, coarsely ground, to taste
  • salt, to taste

How To Make corned beef hash

  • 1
    Peel potatoes and cut into chunks. Boil in water with 1/2 tsp. salt in saucepan 25-30 minutes or until soft. Drain water.

    Add butter and corned beef. Stir until well combined.

    Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot. Note: Great with green beans and corn on the cob.
