- small head cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 stick
- 1 1/2 c
- heavy cream
- 1/2 lb
- bacon cooked and crumbled
- leeks, chopped or 8 green onions if you don't have leeks
- salt and pepper
1Cook potatoes until soft. Drain and mash.
2Slice butter stick into pieces. Add to the potatoes along with cream and beat together
3Boil cabbage drain and add to potatoes.
4Add second stick of butter making sure to coat all of the cabbage.
5Add the bacon and leeks; Simmer for 1/2 hour, salt and pepper to taste. SErve right away
