Ingredients

1 can(s)
13 3/4 can chicken or beef broth
5
medium potatoes
6 slice
bacon, cooked crispy
3 Tbsp
flour
1 c
shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Step-By-Step

1Over medium heat bring broth to a boil...reduce heat

2Add potatoes and onion cover and simmer for 5 minutes then drain reserving 1 1/2 cups of broth remove from heat

3Cook bacon to crisp stage and pour out all but 3 Tablespoons of drippings

4Blend flour into reserved drippings..slowly add reserved broth and cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until thickened..pour over cheese until melted

5in greased 2 qt baking dish layer 1/3 each ...potato and onion mixture sauce and bacon repeat twice

6Bake 400 degrees for 35 minutes
