Beer Brat Casserole
Enjoy your beer bratwurst all year round with this fantastic recipe.
Cooked with brats, potatoes, garlic, pork & beans & beer, not a flavor is lost in this great casserole recipe. Treat your family with a cookout, indoors.
beer bratwurst sausage links
green bell pepper, diced
red potatoes, diced
1 - 24 oz.
pork & beans, undrained
olive oil, extra virgin
beer, your favorite (regular or non alcoholic)
tabasco or your favorite hot sauce
Cut bratwrust into 1/4" pieces. Fry with oil & garlic in large sauce pan.
When meat is almost done add onions, green peppers, potatoes & pork & beans. Cook at strong simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add cumin, basil, salt, pepper & hot sauce. Lightly simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add beer, bring to a hard simmer, then lower heat to a simmer. Cover the pan & cook for another 10 minutes.
It is your choice to use pasta or rice. Cook as per directions on package. Spoon pasta in soup bowl then cover with Bratwrust Delight.
