Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked crisp & diced
- 2 large onions, diced
- 5 large baking potatoes, chopped into cubes
- 3/4 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 sticks butter, cut into pieces
- GARNISH:
- 6 scallions, sliced
- sour cream
How To Make bacon cheese potatoes

Step 1Line crock pot with reynolds slow cooker liner.

Step 2Layer 1/2 each of the bacon, onions, potatoes & cheese in crock pot. Season with salt, pepper & garlic powder & dot with 1 stick butter.

Step 3Repeat layers of bacon, onions, potatoes & cheese. Dot with other stick butter. Cover with foil.

Step 4Cover & cook on LOW for 10 - 12 hours.

Step 5When serving, top off with a dollop of sour cream & scallions! Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Step 6NOTES: Double the recipe if you are expecting company. Great to serve for a brunch! If you would like to make these in the oven -- 400 degrees F. for 1 hour in a 9" x 13" greased baking dish, covered.
