This delicious casserole makes a great side dish. You can use leftover mashed potatoes if you have them or instant, if you like.

Ingredients For augratin mashed potato casserole

  • 4 c
    potatoes, mashed
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 1/2 c
    margerine, melted
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese

How To Make augratin mashed potato casserole

  • 1
    Grease a 2 quart casserole dish. Place half the potatoes in the dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup parmesean cheese.

    Cover with the remaining potatoes. Sprinkle the remaining cup of cheddar chees over the potatoes. Top with the breadcrumbs that have been mixed with 1/2 cup melted margerine.

    Bake at 450' for 20-25 munutes until cheese is melted and crumbs are brown. Enjoy!
