Ingredients For 7 layer chop dinner casserole

4 lgpotatoes (white), sliced
-
1 - 16 oz. canpeas, liquid reserved

1/2 headred or green cabbage, shredded
-
2 lgsweet potatoes, sliced
-
1 lbmushrooms, fresh, sliced
-
1 lgbermuda onion, sliced thin
-
1 lgred onion, sliced thin
-
4 - 8 oz.pork chops, boneless
-
garlic powder, to taste
-
salt & pepper, to taste
-
16 ozmarinara sauce
How To Make 7 layer chop dinner casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Lightly grease a deep casserole dish on the bottom.

3Layer the sliced white potatoes & sprinkle with garlic powder.

4Layer peas.
-
5Layer sweet potatoes.

6Layer cabbage & sprinkle with salt & pepper.

7Layer mushrooms & sprinkle with pepper.
-
8Layer both onions & sprinkle with pepper.
-
9Sprinkle chops with garlic, salt & pepper & place them, seasoned side down, on top of the onions.

10Mix the reserved pea water with the marinara & pour over the casserole.

11Cover with a tight lid or foil & bake 40 - 45 minutes.

12Remove cover & bake another 15 minutes or so, until top is browned well.
