Have been making this recipe for over 25 years and it never fails to be great. My hubby wants it all the time.

Ingredients

8 oz
macaroni
1 tsp
butter
1
egg, beaten
2 & 1/2 c
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c
velveeta, shredded
1 tsp
dry mustard
1 tsp
salt
1 c
milk

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain well.

2Reserve a small amount of cheese.
Add butter, egg and reminaing cheese to hot macaroni; mix well.

3Pour into a 1 & 1/2 quart buttered casserole dish.

4Mix dry mustard, salt and 1 Tablespoon hot water in small bowl. Stir in milk. Pour over casserole.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

5Bake for 45 minutes or until set and top is crusty.
