A wonderful Mac and Cheese Casserole in a pumpkin

A special thanks to Raymond for his recipe which was part of to my dinner tonight. Eric wanted something baked in a pumpkin shell. I thought since he loves mac and cheese I would do that. Then Raymond posted a wonderful Mac and cheese (on steriods) It has everything, even bacon. So I did it here is the result. Bless you Raymond (Clownman70360).

pumpkin about the size of a 7-8 inch plate

Directions Step-By-Step

Cut open the pumpkin shell and scoup out the insides. (save the pumpkin seeds for another recipe)

Mix together the recipe found at the link above and stuff it into the punpkin shell instead of a casserole dish. It took the entire recipe.

Replace top and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until the bubbling noice reaches your ears, remove top and bake 10 minutes more until top starts to brown

Take out and let sit 10 minutes and serve. We had it with A crock pot pork roast. Was never a fan of mac and cheese but this recipe changed my mind.

You just have to try it.

I switched up the mozzerella for mild cheddar. THere are three different cheese plus bacon in this marvelous winning recipe.
