W D's Easy Family Beans
"We got this off a Heinz Ketchup bottle many years ago. Goes very well with hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad and lemonade on a family summer cook out."

- one lb. cans pork 'n beans
- (or more) strips of bacon, diced
- 1/4 c
- (or more) onion, diced
- 1/4 c
- tomato ketchup
- 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- 1 tsp
- garlic powder
1Saute bacon in until almost crisp. Add chopped onion and continue sauting until bacon is crisp.
2Combine all the above then pour into 1 qt. casserole and bake uncovered in 375 degree oven for 50 - 55 minutes or until beans are hot.
Sorry Will, I added a few of my tweeks...I use about 1 tbs minced garlic(no powder), Lay strips of bacon on top before putting in the oven and broil to crisp bacon at the end.
