3 candrained and rinsed navy beans

1/2 cAnnie’s Naturals Organic Smoky Maple BBQ Sauce (heaping)

1/4 cblackstrap molasses
-
1/3 capple cider vinegar
-
1/4 cpure maple syrup
-
3 Tbspwhole grain dijon mustard

3 Tbsptomato paste
-
2 Tbspliquid smoke (optional)
How To Make vegan baked beans

1Heat olive oil in a large pot on the stove top over medium heat. Add the onion to the pot and cook until soft (about 5 minutes).

2Add the navy beans, BBQ sauce, molasses, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, mustard, tomato paste, and liquid smoke (if using). Stir everything to combine and bring the ingredients to a low simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
