A tasty side dish that's as good as stuffed mushrooms, but easier and quicker!

Ingredients For easy peasy roasted mushrooms

  • 1 lb
    white button mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/3 c
    italian style dried bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 2 Tbsp
    italian parsley, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
    kosher salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil to drizzle
  • olive oil spray

How To Make easy peasy roasted mushrooms

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2
    Slice off the bottom of the mushroom stems, and then wipe dirt off mushrooms with a damp paper towel.

    Quarter or halve mushrooms, depending on size.

    Sprinkle the 2 T. water in the bottom of a 13" x 9" pan, then place the mushrooms in the pan in a single layer. Season mushrooms with salt & pepper.

    In a small bowl combine the breadcrumbs, cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic.

    Combine mixture & sprinkle evenly on top of mushrooms.

    Place dish on open door of dishwasher & drizzle evenly with olive oil, and then spray top with olive oil spray.

    Bake uncovered until mushrooms are golden, about 20 minutes. Serve hot or warm.
