This is my quick solution to getting dinner to the table fast. Pierogi's are one of our all time favorites, and while I make them from scratch, see my recipe posted here. Many times I rely on the frozen variety for a quick meal idea. This was one of those days. We also love to have Smoked Polish and Kraut when ever we have the Pierogi's as well. Using the electric skillet for the Pierogi's, and the large skillet on the stove for the kraut helped to make a quick tasty and delicious meal. Everyone of us made happy plates. I love it when a plan comes together so quickly. Give it a try.

How To Make skillet pierogis & peppers

  • 1
When there is no time to make my own pierogis, I like to keep these in the freezer for convenience.
  • 2
Bring large pot of water to a boil. Then drop in frozen pierogis, and cook until they begin to float to top of water. Then using a slotted spoon, remove them to a large platter. Repeat until all pierogis have been cooked.
  • 3
Melt butter in a large skillet, I used my large electric skillet, then add in the sliced onions and peppers and saute about 5 minutes.
  • Cooking the Pierogie's with the peppers and onions in an electric Skillet after they have been boiled helps to make dinner quickly.
