This is a quick and easy way to make refried beans when you don't have the time to cook pinto beans from scratch. This is a delicious side with any mexican meal or as a dip for tortilla chips.

1 Tbsp
bacon greese
15 oz
can of pinto beans or refried
salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat bacon greese until melted (i usually keep mine in a small container in the frig).
Add pinto beans. If you are using whole pinto beans let them cook for about 1 min. soaking up the flavor of the bacon. Start to smash and mash the beans with a masher until the beans look like mashed potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
