Portuguese Gizzards and Rice

This is my Brother-in-law Bill's recipe. He ususally makes this for the holidays. Yummy!

Ingredients

1 lb
chicken gizzards
1 medium
onion-chopped
1
stalk celery, chopped
4-5
chicken bouillon cubes
dried crushed red pepper - to taste
1-1 1/2 c
long grain rice (uncle
1-2 tsp
gravy master browning and seasoning liquid

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook gizzards in a covered pan with water, diced onion, celery,bouillon, and red pepper. When gizzards are tender, removed them and chop. Return to pan and add rice (long grain) and gravy master.

Cook until rice is tender.
