Pickled Red Onions
I initially made them wrong (I didn't pay full attention to what I was doing) and used 1 c. of the vinegar instead of 1/2 c. I like the full cup better. I also never added water so it was full strength but it was wonderful as is, so I am not messing with perfection.

- red onion
- 1/2 c
- apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp
- 1 1/2 tsp
- kosher salt
- 1 c
1Thinly slice the onion
Wisk together the vinegar, honey, salt, and water
Put the onions in a jar and pour the vinegar mixture over the onions.
Let the onion mixture sit on the counter for around an hour.
2Adjustments I have made to the recipe:
Double the vinegar and omit the water.
