Ingredients For mom's vadalia onion relish

1 galsweet or vadalia onions, chopped

3 lgbell peppers, all colors, chopped

2 or 3hot banana peppers, chopped

3/4 cpickling or canning salt

2 Tbsppickling spice, in bag

1 tspmustard
-
1/2 tsptumeric
-
1 tspcelery seed
-
2 1/2 csugar
-
2 1/2 cwhite vinegar
How To Make mom's vadalia onion relish

1Mix onions, peppers and salt in cold water to cover, let sit overnight. Drain and rinse.

2Mix together spices, sugar and vinegar in canner or pot large enough to hold everything and bring to a boil. Add onion mixture and bring back to a boil. Put in hot jars and seal.
