Lightly steam the corn on the cob. I use a steamer basket in a large pan. Place cobs in the the steamer basket. Cover pan and bring to boil. Once water has come to the boil, turn off the burner, set the pot aside and keep covered.
Use a pastry brush and lightly oil the corn cobs. Grill corn until brown, crispy or blackened to your preference.
Serve the prepared corn with the wet paste mixture. Sprinkle with the minced fresh cilantro.
