1 dozen hard boiled eggs
food coloring
white vinegar

These crackle eggs would be neat dyed all green for St. Patricks Day !!

 

Directions

After you've hard-boiled your eggs, crack the shell without peeling it. Drop each egg into a sandwich-sized plastic bag,

Squirt a couple drops of food coloring on the eggs.

Make sure it's completely covered. Add a few drops of vinegar (it will set the color). Leave the eggs in the bags for about half an hour. Peel carefully.

You can serve these eggs as-is, or make them into deviled eggs.

I have done this before and they turn out spectacular! Really neat to do for deviled eggs as even the little ones will try these!
