- red cinnamon candies
1Boil unpeeled oranges in water until tender. (Less than 1 hour.) Cool.
2Cut oranges in quarters or eighths and place in baking dish.
3Combine sugar, water and cinnamon candies and heat until candies dissolve; Pour this syrup over oranges.
4Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
5Chill, preferably overnight; Serve as accompaniment to meat, poultry or casserole dish.
