Texas Triple Layer Dip

A simple and delicious dip that came to me back in the early 80's from my cousin Cathy. This is so simple to make and is an absolute big hit with gatherings and cookouts. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and you are good to go! Can serve in a glass bowl or in a rectangular glass casserole. This is just simply amazing!

sour cream

of guacamole***
2 c

Directions Step-By-Step

Layer the above ingredients in the exact order in a glass bowl or rectangular glass casserole dish.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
***Guacamole recipe:
2-3 large avocados, peeled, seeded and mashed.
4 T. Salsa or Picante sauce.
2 t. lemon or lime juice.
1/2 t. salt.
Combine all guacamole ingredients together and mash and mix well. Add to center layer of dip.
