Ingredients
- 6 1/2 cups diced sweet red peppers
- 7 1/2 cups diced green peppers
- 6 cups diced onions
- 2 quarts boiling water
- 3 cups cider vinegar
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon canning salt
- 2 teaspoons mustard seed
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
How To Make sweet pepper relish

Step 1In a large container, combine peppers and onions. Pour boiling water over and let stand for 20 minutes; drain well.

Step 2In a large kettle, combine the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Add pepper mixture; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 3Pour hot into jars; leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Adjust lids. Process for 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
