Cream Cheese Frosting
This an easy to make frosting that goes so well on red velvet cake, carrot cake and many others.
This recipe has only four ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.
This recipe can be doubled easily.

- 4 oz
- cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz
- unsalted butter, softened
- 2 c
- confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp
- pure vanilla extract
1With an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
2With mixer on low speed, add the powdered sugar one cup at a time. Add the vanilla. Beat until well mixed, light and fluffy.
