This is a great way to make a buttery spread for all your nut breads, holiday rolls, use for cinnamon rolls,bagels, toast or muffin. Great for filling cupcakes, or in frosting mixed with powdered sugar. So give it a try and enjoy!

Ingredients For buttery cranberry spread

  • 1/2 c
    chopped raw cranberries
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts, optional
  • 3/4 c
    only real butter, softened
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar or brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey

How To Make buttery cranberry spread

    In a small mixing bowl combine the butter,white or brown sugar and honey, blend and beat until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes, to make airy. Add remaining ingredients and beat for 5 more minutes.

    Place in a nice serving dish and chill until serving time. --- Note: If after Thanksgiving and /or Christmas you have any cranberry orange relish left... drain reserve liquid for your quick bread recipes. Using the drained relish and add softened cream cheese to make a great orange/cranberry spread for your toast in the morning etc....
