This was a recipe of my grandfather's. I always asked him to make it.

Ingredients For beef and pickle spread for making sandwiches

  • 2 lb
    beef roast
  • 6
    hard boiled eggs
  • 12 oz
    pickle relish, sweet, with juice
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

How To Make beef and pickle spread for making sandwiches

    Put your roast in oven and bake for 2 1/2 hours at 250 degrees F.

    Grind your beef and eggs. Gradually add relish and juice. Add mayonnaise to consistency you want. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve cold.
