I don’t have any images for this spice; however, I keep a tightly-sealed jar of this stuff on hand because I use so much of it. It’s great when used as a rub on just about any type of beef, and it’s excellent when used as a spice for soups and/or stews. Plus, it’s easy/peasy to make because everything is 1 tablespoon. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1 Tbsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole dill seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole coriander seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole cumin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole black peppercorns
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt, kosher variety
  • 1 Tbsp
    sweet or hot paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    espresso powder

How To Make spice essential:awesome beef rub by the tablespoon

    Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

    Add all the elements to a spice blender, and blend until the ingredients are a powder.

    Place into a tightly-sealed glass jar, and keep in a cool, dry place, out of the sun.
