I kept seeing commercials for pancakes and it made me crave them and of course I had no syrup...so I made my own. It turned out perfect now you can make your own and never buy syrup again.

This is so good! You will be proud to serve it to your family and friends. It's thick, rich, and has a great buttery, maple flavor. It will remind you of that "big name" brand for a fraction of the cost!

Stove Top

Ingredients

1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
water
4 Tbsp
butter
1/4 tsp
maple flavoring

Directions Step-By-Step

Add all ingredients to a medium sauce pan.

Cook until small bubbles form over surface. Turn off heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Syrup will thicken as it sits.

Serve over your favorite pancakes or waffles.
