homemade taco seasoning

Recipe by

I mix up a batch of this and always keep in on hand for my Mexican dishes, taco's, fajitas's, etc. I actually keep it in a old 16oz, taco season spice jar from when I would actually buy the stuff. It will keep for quite a while, and this recipe will fill my 16 oz. jare about 1/2 or so.

the prepackaged taco seasoning has about 2-2 1/2 tablespoons for a 1 shot meal. I use about the same amount per pound of protein. I use this on beef, pork, turkey, chicken, and seafood. It is my go to Mexican seasoning
