Making your own pumpkin pie spice is as easy as combining spices and stirring them together. The ratio of spices used is a matter of personal preference; feel free to tinker to your liking. The beauty of making your own blend is that you get to customize it according to taste. And now you’ll never be out of pumpkin pie spice.

ground cinnamon
2 tsp
ground allspice
2 tsp
ground nutmeg
2 tsp
ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp
ground cloves

Directions Step-By-Step

Dump all the spices in a small bowl and stir to combine.

Transfer the pumpkin pie spice mix to a small glass canning jar, a repurposed spice jar with a lid, or any other small, resealable container.
If pouring the spice mix into a small container, first place it on a creased sheet of parchment paper and then carefully slide it in, or use a funnel.

The spice mixture will keep airtight at room temperature for many months. If you only use the pumpkin pie spice mix on a seasonal basis, it’s best to make a fresh batch each fall.
