I’m from Texas, so the dish that spells "home" for me is a good ol' barbecue. I have my own recipe for barbecue sauce that I like to pour all over sliced brisket.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
(12 ounces) dr pepper
1 c
crushed tomatoes
1/4 c
packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp
spicy brown mustard
1 Tbsp
orange juice, fresh
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 30-35 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

3Refrigerate leftovers.
