I don't remember where I found this, but I have tweaked it and have been making it now for a few years. It is so delicious, you could eat it with a spoon. You shouldn't, but you might be tempted. There are a few variations you can use. Want it without blue cheese? Ok! Want to add a pinch of paprika? Sure! Leave out the nuts? No problem. Enjoy!
Whisk everything together in a bowl and store in a canning jar. Make about an hour before planning to use it so it can chill. If you don't have smokehouse almonds, it is still good. Same with blue cheese. Use it if you have it, but it is wonderful just as a ranch dressing.
