Ingredients For cranberry salsa

  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 pkg
    (12 oz) cranberries
  • 2 or 3 sm
    fresh jalapenos
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 2 or 3 sm
    green onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 c
    natural unsalted pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds) optional

How To Make cranberry salsa

  • 1
    Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add cranberries. Return to boil; boil gently for 10 minutes without stirring.

    Pour into a bowl and allow to cool slightly. Add remaining ingredients and mix lightly.

    Refrigerate. Flavor improves if allowed to sit so flavors blend. Serve at room temperature.
