Ingredients For cranberry salsa

1 cwater

1 csugar

1 pkg(12 oz) cranberries

2 or 3 smfresh jalapenos

1 Tbspfresh cilantro

1/2 tspcumin

2 or 3 smgreen onions, sliced

1 Tbspfresh lime juice

1/2 cnatural unsalted pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds) optional
How To Make cranberry salsa

1Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add cranberries. Return to boil; boil gently for 10 minutes without stirring.

2Pour into a bowl and allow to cool slightly. Add remaining ingredients and mix lightly.

3Refrigerate. Flavor improves if allowed to sit so flavors blend. Serve at room temperature.
