My friend Cindy Frederick used to do this all the time. Now she got me hooked into doing it. It may not be your traditional "Spanish Rice", but it is yummy!

Ingredients For cindy's quick & easy "spanish" rice

  • white rice, enough for 4 servings, uncooked
  • 1 jar
    salsa, heat to your liking
  • 1 jar
    green chiles
  • 1 stick
    butter

How To Make cindy's quick & easy "spanish" rice

  • 1
    Cook rice according to directions on package for 4 servings.

    When rice is done, add salsa & green chiles; stir to combine. Cook to heat through, about 5 minutes.

    Add butter; stir. Cook until all butter is melted, about 5 more minutes. Enjoy!
