Three Salt-free Seasonings

Trying to cut salt in your diet. Here are three different seasonings that you might want to give a try. I had to adjust my cooking years ago when my husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I learned then to season differently so we wouldn't miss the salt. Now most foods taste too salty to both of us.

Ingredients

SALT FREE SEASONING #1

1 Tbsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
basil, dried
1 tsp
thyme, dried
1 tsp
parsley, flakes
1 tsp
savory
1 tsp
mace, ground
1 tsp
onion powder
1 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
sage, dried
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper

SALT FREE SEASONING #2

2 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
basil, dried
1 tsp
oregano, dried
1 tsp
lemon peel

SALT FREE SEASONING #3

1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
dry mustard, i prefer coleman's
1/2 tsp
thyme, dried
1/2 tsp
paprika, sweet mild
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp
freshly ground white pepper
1/4 tsp
celery seed

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You can keep a portion of each of these seasonings in a shaker and just shake over your dish as you would salt.
Try these on soups and meats too when cooking.
