Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef

clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/4 tsp
salt

(2 ounces) envelope lipton onion soup mix
1/4 tsp
oregano
1 can(s)
(28 ounces) tomato puree
1 c
water
1 can(s)
(8 ounces) tomato sauce

Step-By-Step

1in heavy saucepan, brown ground beef, garlic, salt and pepper, stirring frequently.
Stir in soup mix, oregano, tomato puree, water and tomato sauce and put in deeper pot.

2Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes or until thickened.
