Ingredients For red goodie

  • 1 can
    15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ground black pepper

How To Make red goodie

    Mix in saucepan, cook over medium-low heat until reduced in half and thickened. Makes about 3 cups.

    Can in 8 oz. canning jars and freeze excess for future use. You need only about 1 tbsp. per serving of greens to enhance the flavor and remove the bitterness.
