Ingredients For nonny's chunky cinnamon applesauce

8medium, tart apples peeled and quartered

1 cwater

1 csugar

1/4 cred hot cinnamon candy disks or hearts
How To Make nonny's chunky cinnamon applesauce

1Place apples and water in 5qt. saucepan. Cover and cook over medium low heat for 20 minutes or until tender.

2Mash the apples with a fork. Add sugar and candies. Cook uncovered until sugar and candies dissolve.
