Our Grandkids love this filling as a filling for a 2 layer white cake with a fluffy white frosting OR double recipe and use it to "frost" a 9"x13" cake..Refrigerate cakes.

This is an old recipe from my Mother.

Ingredients

3/4 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
corn starch

MIX IN SAUCEPAN & ADD

3/4 c
water
2
slightly beaten eggs
3 Tbsp
lemon juice

Step-By-Step

1Cook over medium heat until thick,stirring constantly.
Add 1 Tablespoon margarine. cool.
