Had a bag of dried apricots and love to make preserves so I found a recipe for preserves made in a crock pot. This is my first attempt and what a delight, and so friendly to your taste buds. This will now turn into a recipe that I will always make no matter what is going on outside..Winter, summer, anytime this is the one. Thanks to our hot crock pot love cook, I ventured into another realm of cooking. Enjoy...
Place chopped apricots in crock pot with water, sugar, and o.j..cook for 21/2 hrs. on high, covered. Stir twice.
Uncover crock pot and stir. Leave lid off, and cook on high for 2 hours, stirring frequently until thickened. Will be good for up to 3 weeks in a jar. Now serve your family and friends and see how much these preserves just melt in your mouth. YUMMMMilicious!!!
