Ingredients

2 lb
yellow pear tomatoes
1 medium
lemon chopped
4 c
sugar
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
ground ginger
1 Tbsp
ground cloves

Step-By-Step

1Wash and dry tomatoes.
2Cut a thin slice at blossom end, press out seeds discard.
3Combine tomatoes, sugar, salt and simmer until sugar dissolves.
4Boil about 40 minutes.
5Add thinly sliced lemon and minced ginger root.
6Boil 10 minutes longer.
7Pour into hot jars and seal. Water bath for 10 minutes.
