This is a breakfast favorite for our children. They always ask for seconds! I usually make with Old Fashioned Irish Oats or Scottish Porridge. Just adjust the water/milk content to cook oats thoroughly when not using instant oats.

1 c
water
1 c
milk
2 Tbsp
unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 c

Directions Step-By-Step

Lower heat to low, continue to cook covered, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
3
Scoop into a bowl and top with a heaping spoon of preserves. Why not try my homemade jam recipes!
