Michael's recipe is so darn good it's almost a sin--This easy recipe is great for your pasta. This is a simple, no nonsense recipe. This great recipe is from Michael and cooks.com. I have made this several times and it is delicious!!

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, only
8 oz
cream cheese, room temperature
1 c
half and half , only
1/3 c
parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
pepper and salt

Directions Step-By-Step

In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
When butter is almost melted, add the cream cheese. It's easiest to cut cream cheese into pieces so that it melts quicker.
Stir until butter and cream cheese are well blended, add the 1/2 & 1/2, Par,esan cheese, garlic powder, and then shake pepper on top. Stir every few moments.
After well mixed and sauce-like, remove from heat and set aside to thicken up. Stirring every few minutes.
Great on tortellini and to dip bread sticks in too!
