This is so good! I've been making this for years! It's a very basic recipe, and I'm sure I'm not the only one to make applesauce this way. We love it!

Method:
Stove Top

Ingredients

3 lb
mcintosh apples
1/4 c
water
1/2 c
sugar
1 tsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Peel, seed, and slice the apples.
Place in a saucepan with the rest of the ingredients.

2Bring to a boil.

Lower heat, cover and simmer for about 40 minutes,
or until desired consistency.

3We like ours a little on the chunky side, so I mash a bit with the potato masher.
Enjoy!!!

4(This was really the best when we picked the apples right off our own apple tree!)
