I love "homemade" recipes. I found this recipe on cdkitchen website and thought it sounded delicious. Today I made it and it's great !! I made some for my next door neighbors. It is made from Fresh Cranberries and orange juice, the flavor is great and I expect it to be great with dressing tomorrow. My sister loves it too. So...Here is a tested recipe folks...GOOD !!
Wash cranberries with cool water and drain well. Discard any soft or discolored berries.
Combine cranberries, diced apple, sugar, orange juice, and corn syrup in a 2-1/2 to 3 - qt sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 8 minutes or until slightly thickened. I love to watch the Cranberries pop !! Cool and pour into pint jars to cool. Keep refrigerated. You will love this recipe..I do...
