cranberries, fresh (or 12 oz pkg)
Wash cranberries. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil, stir to dissolve sugar.
Once sugar dissolved, add cranberries, return to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer about 10 minutes, or until cranberries burst.
Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temp and then refrigerate. Sauce will thicken as it stands.
