Gather your 3 ingredients and place all in a pan on stovetop. Cover. Bring to boil and then turn heat down slightly stirring occasionally.
Cranberries will begin to pop and get soft. Be careful when stirring because popping cranberries can be extremely hot.
Once all cranberries are popped take a potato masher and mash the heck out of them. Place in serving or storage bowl and let cool a little before placing in refrigerator. Before serving them stir them up to make them fluffy. Enjoy.
