This is great around the holiday and also very good on a turkey sandwich.

Ingredients

1 lb
fresh or frozen cranberries
1 c
water
3 c
peeled and diced apples
3 1/2 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
clove, ground
1/4 tsp
allspice, ground
1/4 tsp
ginger
1 c
chopped pecans
1/2 tsp
lemon juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Wash and pick over berries removing all stems. Add to a dutch oven and pour in water. Cook over medium-high heat until skins pop. Add apples, sugar and spices and cook until mixture thickens, about 25 minutes. Stir in peacans and lemon juice. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until ready to use.
